TEHRAN- In a statement released by the Iranian Army concerning Quds Day, a resolute emphasis has been placed on resistance as the sole solution to the Palestine issue, advocating for the fight until the complete dismantling of the Zionist regime.

The statement underscores the significance of the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, known as Quds Day, as a testament to the visionary stance of the late Founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini. 

The day arrives amidst the enduring struggle of the resilient Palestinian nation against the oppressive grip of the brutal Zionist regime. The plight of Palestine, marked by over 100,000 martyrs and wounded, predominantly comprising innocent children, women, and civilians, underscores the gravity of the situation.

Continued oppression, violence, terror, and aggression against the Palestinian people over 75 years, coupled with attacks on sacred sites and civilian infrastructure, amidst a backdrop of global apathy towards human rights violations, reveal the Zionist regime's utter disregard for moral and legal principles. Thus, the statement asserts that resistance and relentless struggle remain the only viable path toward resolving the Palestinian crisis.

According to the statement, the current escalation of the Zionist regime's atrocities is attributed to the regime's internal and external crises. This heightened aggression not only exposes the regime's repugnant nature to the world but also foretells its inevitable demise.

The Iranian Army, condemning the widespread crimes of the Zionist regime, particularly the recent attack on the Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus and the targeted assassinations of Iranian diplomats and military advisors, calls upon the Islamic Ummah and the Iranian populace to fervently rally in support of the oppressed Palestinian cause during the Quds Day march.

As per the divine promise, victory is assured for Palestine, the sacred land revered by multiple faiths. Liberation shall be achieved through the steadfast resistance and divine assistance granted to the righteous fighters, for God stands with the Mujahideen in their noble cause.
